      I go to sleep ok most nights, but when I wake between 3 and 4 am I feel so stressed. My shoulders are tense and ache and I sometimes feel like my head will explode. I’ve tried breathing techniques to try to relax but they don’t work. Sometimes I get up but can’t get rid of the sense of stress – it usually wears off during the day 🤔. I don’t have any reason to feel stressed and I feel fine when I go to bed. Even though I know I’m likely to wake during the night and not get back to sleep, going to bed doesn’t make me feel stressed.

          I’m not doing anything to reduce the stress during the day, it just lessens gradually as the day goes on.
