      Just a quick note that I have been recently getting the daily emails, and just this morning discovered this forum.
      Acute insomnia since 10th of July. Sparing use of z-drug since July 20th. Starting to turn the corner. Feeling my bodily anxiety starting to taper off. Will still be a potentially rocky road for some time.
      Have had episodes of insomnia in the past, all of them due to stress/anxiety.
      Since it was 20 years ago since I last had an episode, I forgot how the brain adjusts.
      Trust your body.
      To anyone feeling scared, isolated, alone, or just plain weirded out by sleep difficulties, you are not alone, and you are experiencing something normal in the human condition.
