      I feel like for a long time I have been making the mistake to stay in bed if I can’t sleep. One big lesson I learned now is to stand up and do some simple activity. Already seeing some results. Also I thought some event caused my insomnia years ago, now I realized the actual cause was somehow I built up a belief that I can’t sleep. So I was wrong, I can sleep 🙂

        Great news! You should do what works for you, in this case, getting out of bed if staying in bed awake doesn’t feel good. But I don’t do that anymore myself, I have complete confidence in my ability to sleep anywhere so I just stay in bed. Eventually I will drift off into sleep every single time.
