OK, firstly the good: Started and completed Martin’s invaluable course last year. Through perseverance and acceptance, things started to improve; the odd good night turned into ten straight nights of sleep, which then turned into a flabbergasting 5 weeks of sleep – victory! I no longer lingered on this forum, rarely thought of sleep – you know, normal.
Now the not so good: currently in a flow of bad nights for seemingly no reason. This has activated the ‘oh no it’s back’ fear, like the clown in IT (terrible analogy, as I don’t sleep near a drain). I’m returning to SR and SC which, for me, is the ONLY route to success. Currently, being a good student; practicing SR, going to bed with eyes barely open, exhausted, only to have my hyper awareness ping! Then up and back, and up… you know the drill. I guess I’m writing through the frustration, as – and I know its common – you believe you got this thing licked. I mean, 5 weeks… I will plough on as it’s worked before and for sufferers out there, keep going. Just airing my frustration. Thanks for reading. Grrrr….
