I'm touched, humbled and honored that you came into my life, thank you so very much for putting up with a miserable git like me.
BAD TIMES

- Listened to the new Iron Maiden and Linkin Park albums, pretty good stuff in my opinion, looking forward to the new Evanescence album which is only months away![*]Was able to get another Starscream for my Transformers collection…oddly enough they seem to be difficult to obtain where I live which is annoying.[*]I was on the phone for over an hour to the incredible Medusa Rantz last night, she had been feeling down of late so called her up as a surprise on my iPhone…and by the sounds of things I really made her day![*]I got a special jar of Marmite in the post! The company that does the PR for Marmite emailed me asking me for contact details saying they wanted to send me something very special, and the sent me a jar with a 1960s style label that is a limited run of 750! If you are in the UK and a Marmite fan, you can buy a jar from the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend! I also won tickets to go to the Festival of Speed, but I told them to give them to someone else as they had already given me a jar, and someone else deserved the opportunity to get a jar too…..and this was all thanks to basically saying how much love Marmite on Twitter and my blog!![*]Chewy candy, you know things like Skittles, Starburst, Airheads, Laffy Taffy and more…they make me happy sometimes, it's the simple things right?[*]Mountain Dew..no not the horrible garbage that they have masquerading as Mountain Dew in UK…the proper stuff! I have imported 2 different flavours of Mountain Dew (Red Alert and Voltage) and they will be here tomorrow…yay!
BAD TIMES
- Sleep is still kinda eluding me, getting 3-4 hours average, but each time I sleep I feel more tired than before![*]I have to go to my doctor, and I'm not looking forward to this, because doctors tend not to listen to me, but I know that I need some help, feel like I am in a real bad place mentally right now.[*]The place where I bought my Mountain Dew from also sells Cheetos…but every time I go to get them they are out of stock…gah!
October 4, 2010 at 12:48 am #9480GOOD TIMES
- Got hold of Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock for my PS3, really fun game, and love the look of the new controller.[*]I got hold of some Marmite spoons for my collection! Awesome stuff.[*]I've lost some weight! I can fit in XXL t shirts which is cool, and it looks like I have gone down a size or 2 when it comes to jeans too.[*]I have decided that the next gizmo for my collection has to be a Mac-book…hope to have it in time for my birthday next year!
BAD TIMES
- Almost passed out in town yesterday, I was in the Orange phone shop in town and their heating was on full blast…damn it made me feel so very ill…I still had shopping to do, and felt so bad I had to go home.[*]I really want a pair of purple jeans, but cannot get any in my size…is it wrong to be a man who would want jeans that are not black, blue or white?[*]My sister gave birth to a baby boy called Harley last week, and sadly he is in SCBU because he cannot breathe properly, but he seems to be fighting good odds, he's a scrapper like the rest of our family.

So yes, interesting times at Yam Towers…

- My husband and I finally got ourselves a flatscreen TV, a home-cinema system and a blue-ray player. To top it off the kids bought a PS3 with their money the got at newyear. So now I'm kicking ass in style, baby![*]The book I ordered 2 months ago arrived in the mail today.
BAD TIMES:- [*]Started at my third week of sick-leave. I've never been away this long at work and I sincerly hope my boss won't sack me. Luckily us employees are well protected here in Belgium but you never know.[*]I stopped the new meds after 2 days. They really knocked me out. I slept about a day (yes 24h) the first time I took one. I tried it again with a half but then I was like a walking zombie. So no more of that crap. Sadly that means no sleep too.[*]I started a new round of 'find the disease' today. I had an appointment with a neurologist, had to wait like half an hour (What's up with that, they give you an appointment but they are never on time). Luckily I had my new book. I finally got an EEG done. (The electricity in my brain is fine) and I had a physical exam. Surprise, everything seems OK, but to be sure: Let's have an MRI and some other spooky test sheduled. Wait and see I guess.

January 30, 2011 at 3:04 pm #9491GOOD TIMES:
– 2 nights in a row, I slept decent (Last time that happened is was still 2010)
– put one of the kids bicycles for sale on the internet and it was sold the same day
BAD TIMES:
– had to take meds (zolpidem) to have 2 decent nights
– starting my fourth week of sick-leave tomorrow
All in all, things are not that bad. I'm not too drousy during the day from the meds. Just can't sleep without them. But hey, I'm not the only one, right?
