Been seeing things again recently due to lack of sleep, but it is different this rime as I thought I'd seen a spider scuttle across the floor, or something flying out corner of my eye.

I have hallucinated twice, once I was so tired I looked in the mirror and saw my self a very obese , at the time I weighed 42kg which is nothing,,

the next time was driving and I saw a cement truck heading towards me,,, but there was nothing there…

Both times I had been under extreme stress and very tired, and had not had a decent night sleep for months.

Martin, I think you have hit on something the brain is over tired and the imagination takes over.

University of Sydney is doing research at present into the effects of the two types of sleep and how they effect

1 co ordination ,, whilst driving and

          2 Metabolism

As people who have little deep sleep seem to have a greater capacity for obesity.

will keep an eye to see how the findings go..

I'm definitely struggling with maintaining my weight. I know being a biscuit fiend doesn't help, but I've found these last few months where my insomnia's been excessively bad, the same amount of light exercise (mostly walking) doesn't have the same effect on my body it used to.

It's not quite hallucinating, but I had a bout of sleep paralysis recently. I'd had less then 10 hours sleep over 4 days and on day 5 pretty much collasped. Maybe it was a result of being over tired, but I had one of the most intense nightmares ever (not scary so much, just intense. Loud too). It felt like I forced myself awake to get out of it. My eyes opened straight away and my body took what felt like two minutes to wake up.

Not an experience I'd like to repeat 🙁
