Hi there. I'm Sarah, 33 years old and living in Staffordshire, England. I'm married and have two beautiful children who we adopted almost 2 years ago.

I'm not a serial insomniac but have clinical depression and insomnia is a very unwelcome side effect. Many a night is spent in front of the TV or computer screen trying to get drowsy. Hubby sadly snores (we've tried everything)and if I wake up in the night I cannot wake him or get back to sleep.

I am on medication for my depression and was on sleeping tablets but my new psych nurse told me to come off the straight away last week so I've been trying to find new ways to sleep. Green and Blacks hot chocolate last thing at night is a favourite lol.

I'm a frequent twitterer and lots of RT's (be warned) as I'm a comper as a hobby. I also love music, films and books – lots of books.

Ask me questions if you want to know more. xxx

hi there. Ditto on the depression and insomnia. I find my meds and being generally exhausted by my job help but I've spent many a night blinking up at the ceiling. Welcome!
