      Hi,

I'm one of the millions of people who are affected by this stupid thing called insomnia.

I've had it ever since I was 7, when it started as a reaction to a major trauma, and it has never gone away ever since.

It's almost like it's become a part of who I am.

In fact, it's been part of my life for so long that I can neither remember what it was like before, nor can I truly imagine what a life without insomnia could feel like in future.

I've tried quite a few things over the years to help me with it… at the moment I'm trying Bio-Feedback/ Neuro-Feedback.

So far nothing has really made an impact.

What I dislike most about it is how I feel when I wake up – irritable, thin skinned and totally ill-equipped to cope with the day's hassles…

I'm looking forward to talking to othes who know what long-term insomnia feels like and look forward to learning some new stuff.

      All the best,

      Groggy

          Hi Martin,

sure, I'm happy to start a thread re Bio/ Neurofeedback.

I'll have to add the details/ a description of it later, as I am so low on sleep today that I can't think straight enough to explain it!! 😮

Look forward to getting to know you and the other members here too!
