What are some hobbies you people have?
I write, sing in a band and play drums in it as well, I go walking with my cane which is actually fun, I thought it would suck. I read manga, watch anime, I also read articles and watch videos on science, paranormal phenomenon, you name it I probably read it.
I'm very into science.
February 1, 2010 at 6:05 pm #9556I love to travel – staying in one place for too long gets difficult for me! I've lived in New York now since June 2008 and am getting very itchy feet! I also love to read, and have got more into this since I got an ebook reader (not a Kindle!) for Christmas. I like to read a variety of books, from novels to autobiographies. I just finished reading Sarah Palin's book – I'm not a member of any political party, but I thought her story would be interesting. At the moment I'm reading a Stephen King book at the same time as Les Miserables.
I also love meeting new people and finding out more about them – hence my passion for online communities.

February 1, 2010 at 6:16 pm #9557I love to read, and will devour anything and everything. Child 44 was a great book, and I'm finishing up Homer's Odyssey this week, hopefully. I write, bake (sort of, lol), love doing anything outdoors, and fix my cars up. Not with decorations or body parts, though; I enjoy the mechanical work. Thought about going for an ASE cert., but eh.
There's also an array of unfinished craft projects in my garage. They're fun to start, but I lose interest rather quickly.
February 1, 2010 at 6:18 pm #9558Oh you two are very interesting! I write way too much haha!
February 1, 2010 at 7:58 pm #9559Writing/Reading – it's the same thing, just the order is a little different 😉

What games you like playing on PS3?

I'm a HUGE Metal Gear Solid fan, I started playing the games when I was four years old, Metal Gear the very first one, I have every one of them.
I like lots of different games, I have Darksiders, Dark Void, Assassins creed 1 and 2. Borderlands with all the expansions, fallout 3 with all the expansions, Eternal Sonata, Warhawk, Folklore, Killzone 2, Infamous, and the list goes on.
I enjoy lots of games, RPG's Action adventure, pretty much any type of game except Guitar hero and them, I played Guitar hero when it came out on ps2 I was the first one in my town to have it, didn't like it much, tried Rock band but i prefer my real drumming.
February 3, 2010 at 12:00 am #9564I remember Metal Gear Solid on the PlayStation One. It was the first game that truly blew me away. Nothing has compared since… apart from maybe the Resident Evil franchise.

February 3, 2010 at 12:19 am #9565I never got into Metal Gear. Splinter Cell and Hitman are my forte. The new Splinter Cell releases here this month. I'm probably going to be out for a few days when that happens. lol
February 3, 2010 at 2:45 am #9566I mean this with every fiber of my being. The Metal Gear Solid series means more to me than most people will ever know, growing up the way I did I turned to video games and MGS really kept me together, the story, gameplay, I loved it, like I said I started at age 4 with the original Metal Gear.
When MGS4: Guns of the patriots came out and I bought it and played it and beat it, I cried, I cried a lot. The last game with solid snake in it, old, due to him being a clone, body falling apart, playing those games and getting to MGS4 and seeing the ending is just breathtaking, I would say play them. MGS, MGS2:Sons of Liberty MGS3:Snake Eater(You play in 1960's as Big boss) then MGS4.
For an entire week I felt like something was missing in my life, it was over, the story of Solid Snake.
I like Resident evil, got them all here somehere.
I'm not into Splinter cell or hitman, I found them too easy.
I play any new game that comes out, on whatever platform and I'm always beta testing new MMO's.
February 3, 2010 at 1:48 pm #9567I've not played any of the MGS sequels – just the very first one on the PlayStation. I started travelling shortly afterwards and never owned a PlayStation since – and I believe these titles are exclusive to that platform.
I'm a one console man now – and that console is the Wii 😉

February 3, 2010 at 5:00 pm #9568Odd you should say about games meaning something, been playing on games consoles as far back as I can remember, usually using beat-em-up games to vent my frustrations (you can beat the crud out of someone as to speak and not hurt yourself or others).
I'm now currently hooked on music games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band (I even have the masterpiece of lameness called Rock Revolution!) and because music means a lot to me I tend to play them a lot although I'm currently taking a bit of a break from them for the good of my health.
February 6, 2010 at 1:10 pm #9569I play the drums (four years this year! good at blues ), I do pinup photography (which i LOVE! i do the hair and makeup too), and I've just started knitting! It's really good for if you get bored easily or always have to be doing something with your hands. I'm trying to make a beanie with space invaders on it but the gauge is so small it's taking me aeons. Good fun though!
