      In the last 2 years my life has changed dramatically. My world was effected by the pandemic in so many ways including my lifecycle. At the start of the pandemic I chose to stay at home instead of keeping with my regular routine, which turned out to be a huge mistake. During this time I developed not only high anxiety, but insomnia as well. Prior to the pandemic I was not sleeping all that well but it was better than what I’m experiencing now. As for now I’m taking medication and natural remedies for both my anxiety as well as for my insomnia. During this stretch I also was forced to retire from my job and start a new position in a job field I’ve never done before in my life. Learning something new is tough when your tired at the same time. Right now I’m looking for better rest and a calming influence in my life. With the medication and natural remedies I average about 5-6 hours of sleep per day. Moving forward I’m hoping to achieve a better quality of sleep as well as lifestyle.

        Hello Martinm!

        Insomnia likes natural remedies or not, worries, novelties that generate anxiety, abandonment of routine, stress, in short, all of this feeds her. In other words, everything you’ve done so far is only making your insomnia more and more stronger. Maybe trying CBTi or ACT can help you. .. I also advise you to read the posts on this forum. I learned more here than in everything I did to solve my insomnia. Good luck
