How do I sleep again?

      I don’t really know where to start.. I’m new to this but I’m trying anything I can to try and figure out what is going wrong with my sleep.

      About 2 months ago I started waking up 10-15min straight after going to sleep. I have never had issues with sleeping and once I’m asleep I don’t wake up. But this has become an every night thing now and has got to the point that occasionally it will happen twice. But usually it won’t get to that stage because I’m so worked up that I have to get up and then only get 5-6 hours sleep once I’m ready to go to sleep again.
      The more this goes on the worse it’s getting because I think I’m doing this to myself mentally now…

      I tried to set myself up with a healthy bedtime routine (candles and everything) did nothing. Doctor gave me melatonin… did nothing. I’m trying meditation now but I’m just so tired of being tired… just not coping well…

        How do you feel next day?
        Maybe 5 to 6 hours is all you need. That amount is quite common.

          Hello Benny! Candles, melatonin, and meditation cannot generate sleep — so I’m not surprised that they didn’t do anything!

          What time do you normally go to bed at night and when do you get out of bed to start your day? Are you still typically averaging around five to six hours of sleep? When you wake after 10-15 minutes, what do you think is stopping you from falling back to sleep?
