          Hi Jacob!

Welcome to the forum! Can you tell us a bit more details about your current sleep? What time do you go to bed at night, get out of bed in the morning to start your day and how many hours of sleep, on average, do you achieve?

Middle of the night awakenings aren’t unusual, and in fact, most people have them when we transition from one sleep phase to the next. Having a strong sleep drive is also another component of remaining asleep during the night, which can be strengthen by more wakefulness during the daytime, eliminating napping, getting out of bed at the same time every morning, etc.

            Hi Scott 🙂

I ask it as a general question. I myself found that technique fake it until you make it is very useful to get me bacj to sleep after wake up in the middle of night. From my view, its completly normal to wake up in middle of the night. But insomniacs have so much frustration about that wake up in the middle of nights, that when they wake up, they start think about how they are pissed of by that, that they are not able to fall back sleep again.

But we must reconseder that after some years of insomnia body etc. arent used to long night sleep. So i ask if there are some practical techniques (like stimulus contorl or sleep deprivation) how to have non interuptet sleep or how to fall back to the sleep after that wake up 🙂
