      I have had trouble sleeping for as long as I can remember. However, it has gotten worse and worse the older I get. It really got terrible when I became pregnant with twins. I expected this. My twins are now 6 years old and I cannot remember the last time I slept longer than 4 hours at one time. I have been diagnosed with mild sleep apnea. I use a CPAP. This doesn't seem to help. You name it, I've tried it to help me sleep. I was prescribed Ambien, but hate that I became addicted to them so fast. I also use Tylenol PM and Benadryl to help me get some sleep, but I am up to using 6 per night. And, again, this only provides me with 4 hours of sleep. I actually found Insomnia Land last night at 2 a.m. after tossing and turning for 2 1/2 hours. I need help. Seriously.

        I too have had Insomnia for many, many years and struggled with it badly.

        Are you doing Martin's 2 week insomnia email programme?

          Have you tried any non-pharmaceutical approaches to improve your sleep? What about cognitive behavioral therapy?

              Well certainly the CPAP won't be helping any – but that being said, it's important to use if you're suffering from sleep apnea.

              It's often helpful to re-evaluate your sleep hygiene. Have you signed up for my sleep training course yet?
