Even my twenty-five year old brother and twenty-eight year old sister keep stuffed animals! My brother keeps a stuffed husky dog from when he was six called Meesha. Apparently he wants to get a husky one day, just so he can name it Meesha like the stuffed one.

Tim Hortons? Is that a cafe chain? (All we have were I live is one Starbucks and prolific hole-in-the-wall cafes.)

As a consumer of burgers from In-N-Out, a “double-double” means a double meat&cheese burger. I can't have that much any more, so I'm just a “cheeseburger, K&M instead of sauce, grilled onions, protein style” customer these days. No fries or shake, either. Sigh. Since all the sodas/tea/lemonade have high-fructose corn syrup in them, none of those, either.

One of the managers at the local CVS has a PT Cruiser with tons of plush TweetyBirds all over the back.
After my mom's stroke, she got fixated on TweetyBird, for reasons passing my understanding.

It's a coffee chain found almost everywhere in Canada. There are a few in the US, too – but not many.

A double double at Tim Hortons means a coffee with double cream and double sugar.
I've changed now – I don't have sugar in my coffee. Back when I was in Canada though, I loved it!

The nearest Tim Hortons are two across Lake Michigan. (I looked it up!) I would think we'd have one closer by; for goodness' sake, Wisconsin's right below Canada! There's a donut sudoku game on the website. Fantastic.
On another coffee-related note… I used to drink coffee with a lot of creamer or sugar. But ever since I went vegetarian (for two years; went back to eating meat as recommended by doctor) my taste for sugared, creamed coffee just hit rock bottom. I can't drink it all that much anymore.

Aaaah, internet. It's akin to air.
May 24, 2011 at 8:09 am #10777Being sick at home, my list changed a bit (I have 5):
My bed
(I really love my bed, we got a new boxspring last year and its longer then the usual size, so I actually fit in it. After years of being in small beds, that was such a revelation!)
Different kinds of medicine
Lots & lots of books
PC with internet
Fully stocked fridge
