I need help

      Ive been trying to do everything by not doing anything with regards to my sleep,

      But i just feel lost and i dont have the mood to do things the next day,

      What do you think i should do? I really need help.

        I think it might be a mistake to “not do anything” with regards to your sleep.

        You don’t want to obsess about sleep, but you are allowed (and encouraged) to do things that increase the likelihood of sleeping well. One of those things is keeping active during the day.

        So even if you’re not in the mood, try to keep going. I find easy physical activities that aren’t too mentally challenging help perk me up during the day. Sometimes I motivate myself with a treat (eat something yummy, or watch a fun movie, or whatever you love) to help make the bad days feel less bad.

        The important thing is to find something to be happy about and not dwell on the insomnia!

            Thank you for the time to reply to my post guys,

            For the past days, i think i have no problem starting to sleep, the problem though is that i wake up in the middle of the night.

            After waking up, i try to calm myself down by using breathing exercises, but i just cant quiet down and go back to sleep. I also experience hypnic jerks after waking up but not during the first time i sleep.

            In effect, i feel so down and unmotivated thinking about that i did not sleep well, i try not to think about the fact that i did not sleep, but i just dont have the drive to do stuff and it tends to get the better of me.

            I try to do the things i like which is play games on my computer but i just cant.

              I really want to subscribe for your coaching Martin, but as of now i cant because i lost my job recently due to the pandemic, i got retrenched by the company.

              I feel like finding jobs also stresses me but i just think about that i cant control that.
