      Hi, I joined this forum because you all are the only other people I know that struggle or have struggled with sleep as much as I do. Working a full time job and raising a family of 4 is so hard to do with insomnia. I have battled with insomnia for 23 years. I worked a graveyard shift from 9pm – 7am. My parents got a divorce. I broke up with my fiancé. It was then, I feel like my sleeping issues started and just got worse. Sometimes I have a hard time falling asleep but most often my body wakes up at 3am no matter what time I go to bed and I am unable to fall back asleep. I’ve tried hypnosis, exercise, and many different medications. I’m hoping that I can get some advice here and start putting it into practice.

        Wow, 23 years of insomnia AND you are raising a family of four AND you are working a full-time job!

        You are doing those important and challenging things, even in the presence of insomnia (and, I am going to guess, quite a few difficult thoughts, feelings and emotions, too)!
