What’s the recommendation for when to go to bed when using a sleep window but I feel sleepy before the time comes? For example, if my sleep time for now is 6 hours and I get up every morning at 5:30 a.m., since we should get up at the same time every day, I should not go to bed before 11:30 p.m. However, the advice also says, “don’t go to bed if you’re not sleepy and go to bed if you’re sleepy”. If I’m sleepy at 9:30 p.m., should I go ahead to bed even though that could mean more nighttime wakefulness if my body isn’t ready to move past the 6 hour bedtime restriction? Thanks for any advice you all can share from your experiences.
