      I’ve been struggling for 2 years w a lot of issues.  Lately I’ve been waking at 3-4 am in fight flight mode.  Not being able to fall back a sleep.  I’ve tried reading meditation etc! Unfortunately I do take medication and does not really work !  Help !  I’m exhausted!

        Dear Stacy I have had many sleep problems during the past year. I use Zolpidem as prescribed by a doctor.

        Initially, the drug helped me sleep, but in the last two weeks, when I started to reduce the dose, I often wake up at 3 o’clock and can not sleep. At first I was frightened and lost my temper, as a result I could not sleep again, not only did I feel the drug started to lose its effect. But after knowing the Martin blog and follow the CBT for insomania, now i feel  better. You can learn more about this treatment in his free sleep training course.

        Also when I wake up I usually do not turn on the lights, try to keep quiet and listen to some music from the old ipod without the light screen. Hope you get better soon
