Hi, I’m Gabriele and I’m 24. I suffered from insomnia, triggered by the quarantine, which I am now dealing with CBT-I. For almost a month my sleep has improved considerably and I can fall asleep much more easily, but I still have a little anxiety and worry. I hope to send them away as soon as possible. Greetings from Italy.

Welcome to the forum, Gabriele! It sounds as though you’re doing really well — it’s definitely a process and takes time to weaken that anxiety and worry, and that makes sense because it also was a process and took time for that anxiety and worry to reach a high enough level to disrupt your sleep!

Keep moving forward, stay consistent, and I am sure you’ll continue to do well!

Thank you for the encouragement Martin! Yesterday I finished my eight CBT-I sessions and now I feel a bit lonely and anxious, but I know I have to get used to continuing the journey alone to maintain the improvements. I count on your encouragement and that of those who made it.
