      Hello, I am new to this group. I have had poor sleep for a number of years. It became an issue when I was diagnosed with renal cancer. I am now cancer free but still have sleep problems. I can’t take any drugs as I have bad side effects, and I think they only paper over the problem and you don’t get restful sleep. I am trying meditation, mindfulness, aromatherapy, tapping and hand reflexology. I am looking forward to hearing what works for others.

        It may sound ironic but the best sleep remedy is actually doing absolutely nothing, being completely easy and relaxed about your sleeping hours and spending less time in bed, not waiting for sleep.

          Hi Phoebe,
          Sorry to hear of your health issues. All the things you’ve been trying can help but they won’t cause you to sleep in themselves. Sleep just has to happen and therefore we have to create the right circumstances for us to fall asleep without relying on any artificial help. I strongly recommend you subscribe to Martin’s 8 week training program. I fully believe it will help you and you will benefit a lot.
