At 19 years old, I went through Insomnia and now today I have to take pills. I’m very sad about this!
Sorry for my bad English but I’m from Milan, Italy.

I wake up in the night at three or four a.m. approximately and I’m not able to Sleep anymore in the morning or in the day. All the day I am drained of energy.

Why do you think you find it hard to fall back to sleep when you wake around 3-4:00 AM? During the day, when you tend to feel the most drained of energy, what kind of things are you doing?

Taking care of your child is a lot — I can’t think of a bigger (or more rewarding!) responsibility and activity! I get drained taking care of my kids and I sleep great! When you wake during the night, why do you think you find it hard to fall back to sleep?

Hello good morning, when I wake up at three or four a.m. I feel restored but after a two or three Hours i feel drained of energy but at 6/ 7 a.m. i cannot Sleep because I have a lot of things to do for my child.
After, at 8 p.m. I was destroyed but I cannot sleep until 10 Hours because my child is awake.
What hour is now in Oregon? Here in Milan is 40 past 4 a.m.
I think that there are 9 years of difference between Italy and Oregon.
                  Have a wonderful day! Bea

If you wake and find it hard to fall back to sleep then either you got enough sleep (you aren’t sleepy enough for more sleep to occur) or you are putting effort into falling back to sleep/putting pressure on yourself to fall back to sleep. With sleep, the more we try the harder it becomes.

PS: I believe in Oregon I am nine hours behind you!
