      Hi there, here’s a bit about my journey with insomnia. I went through a period of anxiety & depression at the start of last year. Possibly triggered by menopause & strains of bringing up teenagers & looking after aging parents. Was a difficult time for me. My sleep suffered and then I got into the vicious cycle of insomnia by trying everything to sleep – you name it I did it! And developed conditioned response to my bed & sleep – anxiety was horrendous. Stayed home from work & withdrew socially. Was angry & frustrated. My general anxiety & depression was better due to some excellent counselling & other therapies but my insomnia was still there. Since I’ve started course, I’ve noticed a massive difference not just in my sleep but also my acceptance of my situation. Knowing others have been through the same thing is a huge comfort to me.
