I recently purchased a field sound recorder in order to record ambient sounds such as the rain, the ocean, the forest etc to help people relax. Who knows, maybe it could even help you sleep better. I figured what with living in Oregon and having such easy access to these wonders, I should make an effort to record them and share them with members of Insomnia Land and anyone else that's interested.
I am new to this, though. I know that many of you have tried similar sound therapy or relaxation CDs. I want to work with members of Insomnia Land to make something great that will benefit all of us. To do this, I need your help.
I need your suggestions as to the kind of sounds you want to hear. I need your feedback and advice on things you like and things that you don't like about what's already out there. This could be a lot of fun, and at the end of it we could have something that rewards us all for our time and efforts.
Please offer your advice and experience in this thread. As I start recording, I'll share my trials and tribulations, too. I doubt that this will be easy!
