      Hi all,

      I am a 70 year old retired married male insomniac. Hobbies are the Bible and n scale trains. I have been fighting insomnia for many years. Have been through two sleep clinics and am the proud owner of a CPAP machine that I am no longer using since I cannot get to sleep with it on. I have quit all caffeine and have camomile tea in the evening, tried sleep music and natural herbal remedies, nothing seems to work except OTC chemical pills. A major part of the problem are spinal stenosis, which I am working on, and severe perephial neuropathy, for which nothing can be done. I know I am not alone and cannot continue with catnaps an hour or so each day. I signed up for the two week course and look forward to insight fron you folks, willing to try about anything that does not adversely impact my health or Christian values. BTW: I have run the gamut of perscrptions for depression and pain and cannot tolerate them.

          Thanks Tommy. Working on a few things. Had my back injected, so far not much help. Resurrected my CPAP and if I can get to sleep I sleep longer. Doing the 2 week course and nothing new so far but it is making me more aware of what I do wrong. Thinking of trying the music, just need to download and put it on my player, not sure how trying to sleep with earbuds in will work. My days are a blur and I am missing out on a lot. Sleep deprivation is no fun and I grow weary but not giving up.
