      Hello, all community Members:

My name is Tina. I just joined the Insomnia Land forum today. I have had chronic insomnia issues in the past ten months. I used to be able to sleep through the night and got 7 hours nightly on the average. There hasn't been much changes in my life style this year. However, my insomnia kicked in for no apparent reasons one night and I haven't been able to overcome it so far.

In the beginning, I have used sleep aids almost nightly in order to get some sleep. I used melatonin

and Benadryl alternately. I realized there is a price associated with any sleep aids later. When I am not

using them, I get rebound insomnia. They also had side effects on me. For the most part, I got

heart palpitations from them. I even had a Benadryl withdrawal months ago.

I have determined not to rely on sleep aids to sleep. I am hoping that the advanced sleep training course can really helps me to restore my normal sleep.

I hear goes to you. However, I am not sure if I can be of much help since I myself am also trying to find a solution to my problem. My insomnia kicked in for no apparent reason ten months ago. My doctor told me it is due to aging.

I had tried deep massage which helped me for a short period of time. Three weeks ago I took antibiotic to treat a problem, but it gave me rebound insomnia. Foot massage hasn't been able to help me.

              Hi Members

My name is Michael and I am Irish and live in Dublin, Ireland

In the last few years, I have had a number of colorectal surgeries with long recoveries.

During this time during which I had also a lot of personal problems, I began to experience insomnia both in terms of falling asleep and staying asleep. This for some reason made me very anxious and fearful.

I began to rely on sleep medication. Right now in conjunction with the Insomnia Land course, I am trying to stop them.

I am optimistic about the course and already after the first session, am noting less fearfulness, anxiety and concern about sleep.

I am looking forward to the next weeks.
