Sometimes the hardest thing to do is just go. I know when you are really tired you don’t want to do anything. I am finding that by just going you give yourself permission to start a new better way for yourself. You do something that you really want to do and as you continue to do it it gets easier. Being a part of something really is a victory. Keep going no matter how hard it is. You can do it and will sleep. I have been dreading getting up in the morning but now I am starting to embrace it. By getting going you give yourself permission to succeed. I hope this encourages you. You are encouraging me with your stories keep going. Thanks so much to all of you.

        Thank you for sharing!

This is all very difficult — no doubt about it. And so we face a choice when difficult stuff we cannot control shows up — give up, withdraw, and move away from the life we want to live; or acknowledge all the difficulties we face, be kind to ourselves in return, and do things (no matter how small) that are aligned with our values and that keep us moving toward the kind of life we want to live.

I really feel as though they are the only two choices we have when difficulties that are out of our control arise. If anyone has others, please feel free to share!
