Just found out that there will be a lunar eclipse just before dawn, this Saturday morning, December 10th, with best visibility on the U.S. west coast and points farther west. Any Insomnia Land members out that way? Here in the midwest, I doubt I'll be able to get as good a view; still, I'm always awake well before dawn, so I'll certainly take a peek outside, if it's clear. Yes, a lunar eclipse is at least one good thing about being an insomniac! 😉

        Hi, Bobby,

Thanks for the tip. I live in Idaho so I should be okay for watching the eclipse. Also, we are not having much cloud cover this winter which is very rare. Usually it clouds over for about three months so I would not be able to see it even living on the west coast (and being awake).

As far as my sleep schedule the last couple of nights were pretty bad. I feel so much better on the days I get enough sleep. Only us insomniacs know what a drag it is to plod through the day without much energy. Once in awhile though I get enough and it sure makes a difference.

I'm out in Oregon so might get lucky depending on cloud cover. I got to see the last one – it was a really cloudy night but the clouds broke for about ten minutes and I got an awesome view. Fingers crossed for more of the same.

          Thanks for sharing!
