      Hi l wondered if l could get some advice on the forum? I’m currently taking two lots of meds at night (a sedating anti depressant and zopiclone). Have just started working with a sleep psychologist but struggling to get up when l wake due to feel ing so sedated. Just wondered if anyone else is going through the same thing? Thanks!

        I’d suggest raising your concerns about that morning grogginess with your prescribing doctor — perhaps they can modify the dose, change the timing of when you take the medication, and/or explore a different treatment option.

        Have you looked into an alternative to medication, such as cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I)?
