      Well I just know I won't stay asleep tonight. My sleep pattern is all messed up because I'm really stressed about the amount of work I have on. I know it's too much (so I don't need people like my Mum telling me it's too much!) but I need to take on that amount to earn enough to live. Unfortunately I'm so stressed about it I can't work/sleep properly at the moment and I'm not getting it done so not getting the money….. Bank have bounced two payments already this week (and charged me around £60 for the privilege). Thanks for helping nameless bank.

      I've had my washing machine, laptop, internet router, printer and toaster all pack up since christmas. Have had to buy new printer and router (as I need them for work) and managed to get the laptop working again (keyboard was stuck but it added to the stress). Having to wash everything by hand which is a nuisance and it's making the flat more damp. I know I need to take time to relax but so worried I'll get even less done if I take time out. Tried working extra late last night. I did get work done but didn't sleep properly afterwards so not done anything yet today (now 4pm).

      Oh yeah, I'm going out on Thursday afternoon/evening. It's something I'll probably enjoy but stressing about going out and about not being able to work.

      I'm sure the fact I only have two therapy sessions left before getting dropped by the NHS isn't helping.

      I sound like a right whingebag don't I?! Sorry LOL I'm just 😡 and 😮 and 🙁 today.

        My goodness! Murphy's Law is kicking your butt! Thursday will be good for you, I hope you can enjoy it without worrying too much. *good luck fairies*

          Blimey, it doesn't rain but it pours, eh? It's good to vent; I bet you feel a tiny bit better just getting it all out!

          Have you considered raising your prices to help reduce your workload without losing money? I think a lot of freelance writers undervalue themselves and charge less than they could. That might be something worth considering. Also, maybe you could be more selective with the kind of work you take on? Maybe only write about topics that are more interesting, or on subjects that you're more passionate about?

          Don't even get me started on banks – they're worse than estate agents! You deserve some downtime on Thursday – look forward to it, and don't feel guilty about it.
