      I have had terrible sleep issues for so many years. They started after I gave birth to my son who is now 38. Mainly I wouldn’t be able to fall asleep. Over the years I tried many things to help, some would work for a while, but would then stop working. I had a lot of sleep anxiety. Insomnia Coach definitely helped me change both my sleep and my anxiety around sleep. I now fall asleep quickly most nights and sleep uninterrupted between 6 and 7 hours a night. The most important thing that I learned doing this course is that feeling sleepy is essential to falling asleep and that feeling sleepy is not the same as feeling tired. Also, getting up at the end of my sleep window EVERY day and not turning my light off until I’m sleepy are both crucial to keeping my bed as my friend and not my enemy. I am so grateful for this sleep course

          38 years, huh. Your story could be mine! Did you find that over the years that insomnia was sort of brushed off as something everyone has now and then… or due to motherhood… or something must be bothering you… or post-menopause… or….? But no real solutions, short of meds, which stop working after a while.
          It’s still shocking to me that I went all that time without even knowing about CBT-I.
