i should add that i was taking 3 hard-core sleeping pills for the past 7 years until last week. i was taking Temazpam 30mg, Seroquel 25mg and Ativan 2mg. i didn't make a big deal out of going off them, they just weren't needed after a while.

BIG discovery this am. i got up with a bad headache. i don't get headaches so this was unusual. i tried a bit of coffee but the headache didn't go away. then i noticed that my furnace was “cutting out” trying to start but it couldn't. then i remembered that recently i couldn't even start my furnace without cleaning the filter which blocked the fresh air. so i immediately opened the front door wide and could see a rather big draft coming in. then i listened to the furnace and sure enough it finally came on without any problem. and my headahce cleared up completely. so i now know that the furnace and i need FRESH AIR! 😛

i seem to be into the 1st and 2nd sleep pattern now. my 1st sleep lasts for about 3 hours; i get up and work on whatever project i'm doing at the time for about 3 hours; my 2nd sleep lasts for about 4 hours. i get up and start my day at around 7am.

i'm experiencing a set-back. i went off my hard-core sleeping pills (2 left) about a month ago and now i don't feel good. i'm hot/cold and have stomach discomfort and my sleep is not good again. so i'm thinking of going back onto the pills and try to go off them more gradually. i need to do someting. i'm getting into this anxiety thing and worried a lot about the future. it's snowing today and i may not be able to get out. this is dragging me down too. i'll start with the anti-depressant. take this tonight and see what happens. my pharmacist told me that it will take 6 months for the medication to be out of my system but the DR at the emerg said it should be much shorter. maybe the pharmacist is right.
