      I started having heighten anxiety and sleep issues last September 2018.  I have been through several anxiety med changes and even hormone replacement therapy. By January 2019 i was manic. Sleeplessness began shortly thereafter. Medication have turned on me. I have excessive anxiety. I was in the hospital rapidly weaned off klonopin in March 2019. Since getting out of the hospital I go night after night without sleep and can’t even dose during the day. My anxiety is so high my skin feels like it’s burning. As bedtime approaches my anxiety skyrockets.

        I am so sorry to hear about your struggles with anxiety and sleep. It sounds as though you have a very high level of conditioned arousal and this is probably why your anxiety skyrockets as bedtime approaches.

          I am in intensive outpatient therapy. CBT and DBT. I am also going to hypnotherapy.
