      Been struggling badly with insomnia for about 18 months now. I have tried so many things but with no effect. Occasionally have to resort to sleeping tablets to get a badly needed nights sleep.

      Any suggestions and advice will be greatly appreciated.

        Welcome to the forum! Have you considered implementing CBT-I techniques? CBT-I really tackles the root cause of our insomnia – our thoughts and behaviors toward our sleep.

          Please explain exactly what CBT-I is in layman’s terms as I have no idea what this is. Thank you for your reply.

            CBT-I (cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia) is a set of evidence-based tools that help restore our sleep by addressing our unhelpful thoughts and the behaviors we have toward our sleep.
