Just got an appt with a new dr that's going to find out why I can't sleep. But I can't get in until the middle of June. Yikes. Has anyone tried sleep tapes that work on your brianwaves?

        Welcome to Insomnia Land, Cindy.

How long have you had insomnia for? Is this the first time you've found a doctor willing to help you discover the cause of your insomnia? That's quite a waiting list you're on, but hopefully it will be worth it!

One of our members reviewed a sleep therapy product for our blog a while ago:

Sleep Tracks is a company that's been mentioned a couple of times right here in the forums:

It's been a couple of weeks this time, although I've had it at times in the past. I was on a prescription antihistamine to prevent migraines and it really helped me sleep, the other side effects were lousy, weight gain and lack of energy. I stopped it a couple of weeks ago, now I can't sleep.

I take 9 mg melatonin, 100 mg 5 HTP, l theanine and sometimes a Tylenol PM.

This dr looks at everything, hormones, adrenals, thyroid, cholesterol. I wish I could get in sooner.

Otherwise I'm in good health, I exercise daily and only drink alcohol occasionally.

I have a hard time turning my brain off at night.
