Hi, I have had insomnia for the past 15 years. I have read many books and taken many things to help. I have better periods and worse. Lately it has mostly been worse. I have a lot of underlying stress in my life as my husband is seriously ill with cancer.

Unfortunately I do rely on Zopiclone for sleep but hope to taper off it. I have done this before but gone back to it when life got difficult.

I live in Toronto and have a busy life with some of my children and grandchildren nearby. I look forward to hearing of your successes. Ann

I can only hope the winter is again a mild one! After seeing crazy weather relayed events elsewhere it would be a good idea to have supplies ready for a major storm.

I think my insomnia was triggered by several things including peri- menopause, very demanding job and life situation and drinking diet coke…too often with rum in it. Then I had 2 unrelated cancers myself. All more than I was able to cope with!

Yes, my husband's health is a factor now too. He has been battling cancer for 13 years and now is running out of good options. Hard days ahead! I do try to focus on what's most important to us both and to continue to enjoy life as best we can.

Yes, I have enrolled in the free sleep training. Thanks! Ann
