This is a couple of months old but one of my favourites i have written:

People in my head

People in my head screaming revenge

monsters in my head that just want to make it end

voices of hate rising again

turning the tide trying to make a vicious mend

cycle after cycle sending me insane

digging in, clawing at my brain

talons of insanity reaping through my head

parasitic lives multiplying

like a cyclone trying to make me dead

posions in my system disgused as medication

toxic levels of malicious contempt

severing ties to reality yet again

dealing with the demons of a this disease

scarring the landscape of my head

like a holocaust unfolding destroying my soul

I'm trapped in this cage of self deceit

very insightful, I have to be honest it paints a very dark picture of what you must go through but the poetry that you have extracted from such a tortured place is,, great

thanks emmaree, its what i do when i am going trough hard times within myself i put it all on page and it helps, some of it can b a bit dark at times
