Prolonged Chronic Insomnia

      Hi,

      My Insomnia started a while back due to anxiety related disorders. However, it prolonged much later after the successful treatment of the anxiety and now I struggle with it almost on daily basis.
      The worst case is waking up very early and not getting back to sleep on time, but a times I have issues getting to sleep. It kind of just alternates. I’ve taken a couple of pills in the past mirtazipine, xanax etc. but none worked for me and not willing to try any new ones.
      So, how do I manage such a issue.

        Hello pat05. Cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) techniques are almost always the best way to improve sleep for the long-term when you have chronic insomnia — especially when anxiety has a role to play.
