Martin knowing your love for Graham Masterton books I thought you might like this one I've read recently.

Ever heard of Sqweegel? Try this book by Anthony E Zuiker called Dark Origins. At different stages throughout the book there are special codes and you have to go to level26.com and enter the code and watch the clip.

This character comes from CSI and he's really creepy and his methods are horrific. He's a new class of serial killer, a level 26. It'll give you nightmares.

Interesting. My reading list is rather long right now, but I'll add this to the list!

Read a few books recently, it would appear that lack of sleep is allowing me to concentrate on reading…talk about damned if you don't!

I recently re-read Graham Masterton's The Heirloom, which is one of the two books by him that I have read many many times. It's about a man who comes into possession of a chair that he feels a little troubled about so he tries to get rid of it but it won't allow that to happen. It is a chair possessed by some kind of demon which causes all kinds of problems for him and his family.

I LOVE Graham Masterton! Having said that, I haven't read any of his books for at least five years. Must rectify that soon – and I don't think I've read The Heirloom, so maybe I'll give that a go.

I've never heard of this writer. Mostly I read non fiction though. What are the rest of his books like?

I've probably read about ten of his books. They deal largely with supernatural horror; if I remember correctly, it's more about physical beings using supernatural powers. Either way, his books are scary and very violent. I remember one in particular that was extremely disturbing – my girlfriend at the time couldn't get through it.

Recently finished The Angel's Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafón. Gothic 1st-person supernatural-laced mystery taking place in early 20th-century Barcelona with the nature of writing as one theme.

Currently reading for the second time the first adventure of anti-hero Takeshi Kovacs, Altered Carbon, by Richard K. Morgan – after which I will re-read the second Kovacs adventure in Morgan's Broken Angels before tacking the third and currently final Kovacs read taking place on his home planet of Harlan's World, Woken Furies, which I have not yet read.

Well, I must admit, after watching “Ancient Aliens” on the History channel, I've become a bit of an Ancient Astronaut Theorist myself haha.

I bought all of his 12th Planet books, which I'm reading one by one.

I'm also currently reading a translated version of the Egyptian Book of the Dead.

Erich Von Daniken is another author, of which I'm going to get around to. His book, Chariots of the Gods, arrived just last week but I'm only a 1/4 way through Sitchen's books at the moment.
