The mission of Insomnia Land is twofold – to provide support and advice for insomnia sufferers, and to help people better understand insomnia and take it more seriously.
To help with the latter part of our mission, I want a couple of volunteers to agree to write a sleep diary each night for a week. We'll then publish the diary on the blog so others can see what it's like to suffer from insomnia; the odd routines, the thoughts that go through your head – the real nitty gritty details of the condition.
For this to work, I need some volunteers – anyone interested in helping out?
—If you are ready to stop struggling with insomnia you can enroll in the online insomnia coaching course right now! If you would prefer ongoing phone or video coaching calls as part of a powerful three month program that will help you reclaim your life from insomnia, consider applying for the Insomnia Mastery program.

June 17, 2011 at 6:51 pm #12631That's awesome. Anyone else interested?
Yam – Do you want to start on Monday and do a diary for each night of the week? I was thinking that we'd start posting to the blog once the week was over, to make sure we had a full week and take some of the pressure off!

June 18, 2011 at 10:09 am #12632Sure no worries, where do you want it written?
June 18, 2011 at 6:43 pm #12633How about you write each entry in an email and send it over to me: [email protected] ?
Once we have the full week's worth, I can start posting them over at the blog. What do you think?

If this is still on the tables, I'll be happy to do it.
June 28, 2011 at 5:51 pm #12638It sure is, Tommy – the more the merrier. You can start whenever you like, keep some notes each day and after a week, drop me an email. Alternatively you can email the diary over each day. Did you see Yam's diary I posted on the blog yesterday?

June 29, 2011 at 4:31 am #12639I did yes, was very good thank you for doing that for us Yam 🙂
I'll start from today then, which is a good day to start as my sleeping pattern has gone a tad awry at the moment, so let's see how it progresses over the next week!
June 29, 2011 at 7:35 pm #12640Great. If anyone else wants to get involved, too that would be great.

June 29, 2011 at 10:25 pm #12641Wasn't sure if the blog would be any good, but you guys are more than welcome…
July 1, 2011 at 4:48 pm #12642I'm more than interested in this. I've kept sleep diaries before, for my own use, but I think this idea is just as great. Also, it'll help remind me to cheque Insomnia Land more often, haha!
What kind of format? Just as if journaling?
July 1, 2011 at 5:09 pm #12643Yup, that would be great, Uli. Just keep a diary over the course of a week and then shoot it over to me 🙂
