      I have never been a good sleeper but since I retired, it’s even worse.  I worry in the day about sleeping at night.  I put too much thought into getting to sleep.  My dr has me taking two antidepressants but says they take a while to get into my system.  I feel if I could sleep I wouldn’t be depressed.  I decided to try an insomnia coach because I don’t know what else to do.

        Welcome to the forum. Have you discussed CBT for insomnia with your doctor or was this treatment option mentioned by him or her? I am sorry to hear that the first treatment you were offered was medication — particularly since this is rarely a long-term solution to sleep issues.
