I have been tracking my sleep for almost 3 weeks and I have not noticed an improvement. I have noticed my wake up time is lacking consistency. Since Saturday i have been trying to wake up between 6-630. I decided yesterday I will try to stick with only getting up at 6 am. what happened last was i was sleepy but pushing myself to stay awake and try to be in bed by 1230 and asleep by 1am. By 1220 I was no longer sleepy and I didnt get sleepy again until around 2am and went into bed then and fell asleep at around 230. Is it better to go to bed when I am sufficiently sleepy to avoid not being sleepy even if its earlier than my sleep window? I probably could have fallen asleep sometime between 11-12 last night but pushed through it to stay consistent with my sleep window of 1230-6am.

I am yet to meet anyone who has been able to directly and permanently make themselves wake at a certain time through effort — perhaps it’s that goal that might be creating a bit of a struggle, jts?
