I would like to try Sleep Restriction Therapy for my insomnia and I'm wondering if anyone has tried it?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, Josie. Did you read my email about sleep restriction? I'll shoot this one out in the next Insomniac Bulletin and hopefully others who have tried sleep restriction can chime in.

I have and it was so hard at first. I kept at it no matter how much sleep I got and stayed positive. Go to bed only when sleepy. I like to read ( mostly paper, annnoying tablet light gives me headaches at night), knit and pray and listen to relaxing music ( rain and thunder my favorite, sounds of water in general…). I now fall asleep faster. I sometimes wake up within the hour of my alarm which sometimes frustrates me. Quality sleep is better than the quantity. I hate it when my alarm is programed but I have no choice I feel safe in case I over sleep 🙂 Take care
