      What is your take on supplements?
      I don’t take sleeping pills or melatonin
      But I take magnesium one day, ashwagandha one day,5htp, glycine,theanine alternatively
      I don’t know whether it is ok on a long term

        No supplement ever works for sleep. Your body already has what it needs. People generally take supplements simply because of the ” I feel safe taking these” factor, thinking they have delegated the effort of falling asleep to something else external, which can be a supplement, soothing tea, yoga, or whatever but none of these ever does anything to your sleep.

          I’ve tried sooooo many supplements and I’ve never noticed a thing, my arousal system and the fear of being awake keeps me up. Still working on being at peace with wakefulness but I’m struggling. From what I understand sleep seems to be about Sleep Drive and Arousal System. I believe Mr. Reed was talking to another professional and on that video it mentioned how supplements are a minuscule part of helping sleep.
