      I’ve been taking sleeping aids for past 3 months and would like to try and get off of them. Interested in doing cbti but wondering if the program could work with slowly tapering off sleeping aids?

        In my experience working with clients, sleeping pills don’t make a whole lot of difference.

        Some clients go cold turkey from day one, others taper off while we are working together, others don’t make any changes until they graduate. The only time I see them being an issue is when clients take them contingently — based on how they sleep from night to night.

        Of course, it’s important not to make any changes to your medication without talking to your doctor first.
