Introduction- my name is rose. I've had insomnia for many years. Ive been taking ambien for about 6 yrs, only .5(?). I tried Lexapro but stopped it. I usually fall asleep ok but wake up early. It used to be sporadic and I'd get some good night but about 3 weeks ago, it has been every night and this week, I can't even fall asleep! I'm up until 3 or 4, again at 5 or 6' then up at 9 for work. It's horrendous. Living hell, as I'm sure you all know! Looking fwd to support !

I've tried melatonin a long time ago. And valerian . I just Took my 1st seriphos. But I gave in and am trying trazedone. Realized I have anxiety. It's why I have been able to keep going ..as I wasn't really that tired even on 3 hrs sleep! But last nt, while working, it hit me and I couldn't keep eyes open! And due to back to back shifts, only got 6 hrs last nt but slept straight through. I was excited but couldn't keep eyes open all day. I tried napping to no avail. I know that's a no-no but what else can u do when the eyes won't stay open?! I've been trying to listen to relaxation white noise at night. But I usually have earplugs in so it's a little weird .
