      My insomnia started when I had a night where my daughter woke me up and I was unable to fall back asleep. The next day my brain started the “what if’s” spiral (starting with “what if I don’t sleep again tonight?!”) and anxiety that I had never experienced before consumed me. I did visit a therapist for CBT, but she was not trained in CBT-i and really was not helpful at all. After finding out about sleep coaching from an anxiety related Facebook group I’m part of, I have more hope than ever that I can overcome this almost 2 year battle!
