I have an oura ring that measures my sleep (highly recommend). I average 3 hours of sleep a night, though I regularly go 48-72 hours with no sleep at all. (My longest bouts last up to 5 1/2 days). I suffer from fibromyalgia, a destabilized pelvis, and severe chronic pain.
Often if I get 2-3 hours of sleep, I wake up wired and have energy all day long. There are some nights I get 8 hours and wake up more of a zombie with brain fog and lack of energy. It confuses me as to why when I get what appears to be a better night sleep (although still waking 4-9 times), I feel worse. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this.

I think that this might demonstrate that more goes into how we feel than how much sleep we get! Nothing more, nothing less!

Would you say that tracking your sleep each night helps you direct attention on actions that help you live the kind of life you want to live? Or, do you think there might be a possibility that it could be directing attention toward sleep (something that cannot be controlled) and, therefore, giving it more of an influence over your life?
