      I’m going to follow all the advice I. The emails thst I will be receiving but I take Magnesium glycinate before bed as I thought it may help me sleep but do I continue with it or shall I stop it if it’s not helping

        Hi LindaBates, best to consult with a pharmacist on meds. Fwiw, my wife takes it for bone density. You were told it could help with insomnia? Perhaps that is a side benefit? But one thing for sure is there is no guaranteed long term sleep med. If there were, you would see people lined up for miles / kilometers.

        Another option might be consulting with a pharmacist to see what time of day / evening it’s best to take medication.

          Hi linda I tried the magnesium too as many people told me it would help, it unfortunately didn’t and I still kept buying it and looking back now I don’t know why I kept buying it but we live in hope it might just work as we are so desperate to sleep..since I’ve stopped taking it I am now getting a few hours natural sleep which I didn’t get when taking it, only a sleeping pill would make me sleep so it’s your decision but if you’ve tried it for a while with no results then yeah maybe stop it
