I am not as bad a sleeper as I used to be. I have been able to regulate my sleep in that I get a solid relaxed sleep for around 4-6h every night. Then some nights I am able to fall asleep again and sleep the other stretch up to 6-8h. However, this second part has been lacking the last 2-3 weeks. This has been my motivation to get into Martin’s (free) 14-day E-Mail program.

Right now, from Martin’s information so far, I believe that the cause for my sleep issues is mostly anxious thoughts and worrying about not being able to fall asleep again. I have decided to try to realize that a night of bad sleep, does not mean that I will do such a bad job/exercise/private-life the next day.

      Yeah, that’s about it.
      Thanks for reading.

          Hi Fifi,

yeah, I guess we are stuck on the same boat. What are your “bad thoughts” related to?

For me, I believe, that the most stressful/sleep-disturbing ones are work related.

Difficult thoughts and feelings all come from a good place — your mind doing its job of looking out for you! By themselves, they don’t guarantee that sleep won’t happen — but trying to fight or avoid your thoughts and feelings sure can make sleep (and living the life you want to live) a lot more difficult!
