With life's sadness and sorrow with it taking friends from me taking things I can never gain again

I found myself in a hole that I wasn't able to climb out of

I gave up I just didn't care anymore I wanted it to end

I started digging into the hole

drugs, alcohol, I didn't care, i wanted no sadness

there was still sadness but there wasn't any me

I wasn't alive, just an empty shell of what once was

I didn't want to be here with such pain I didn't want anything

as I dug deeper and deeper arms wrapped around me

love found me

she found me

embracing me with the same pain intertwined we became

one we became

I've never wanted to marry, have children, or be in love ever again

until jessica.

I wrote her a message with this in it as well as my feelings for her, and how much i care for her, she's got schoolwork and doctors appointments. Her CRPS takes a great deal out of we talk daily or every few days, I miss her but I understand how hard it is for her with school, managing the pain and life. She hasn't seen it but knowing her she's gonna cry or get really emotional.

It isn't a good poem or anything but thought that counts.
